Hey guys....

Can we go and get our medicals done without the MR officially being requested for by the Visa Office?

I want to get it done right now so that there are no issues for the dates and we can submit them right away when the visa office requests them...

Thanks friends for sharing.
So sorry to hear no changes... (I think we got one good thing is that in future our experiences may help others who worry about the same situation :p)
Pray for our process reach next step soon and successfully!
And pray for eshotel's and my e-cas back soooooonnnnnnnn....

As I heard, in the past, some seniors had taken the medical exam without the medical request from CIC. They said "it makes the processing time shorter"... but as I know, many of them received a request for 2nd Medical. Maybe it's because their medical results were expired before their process was done.
Basically, the expiry date of the medical result is ONE year. However, medical validity to be extended if;
(1)your application processing is completed within 15 months of the original medical exam AND
(2)the only thing stopping your application from final approved and PPR is the expiry date of your medical results.
(See : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob423.asp)

I don't know whether CIC accept it or not currently... I'm afraid.
According to some doctors' website, they require "All the documents CIC sent you". I don't know that "All the documents" includes a medical request... (I hope they don't need the letter/e-mail as MR)

I think you can ask the Immigration Immigration Lawyer/Consultant about it. Many of them provide the first Inquiry(First contact) free of charge.

please ask and share Good luck!!

Aww everyone had been getting involved with the E-CAS system trouble.

My E-CAS went down for 12 days and came back with ;
* No change for my status (still "In Process" and "Application received")
* My home address information was deleted :'(
* My mailing address was changed to wrong one ???
Maybe they lost my address information from E-CAS. It's better for me than nothing. I tried to change my address online. I know E-CAS shows sometimes wrong addresses... If my addresses on E-CAS will be updated to another wrong one, it's a chance to send inquiry to Ottawa... I think.

Anyway, good luck for everyone! I pray for our processes.

Same thing happened with me..after the ecas came back up my address was changed and when I updated the new address it entered a wrong post box.

I have updated it again.

Let see how it goes.

Dear friends,

I am working as a Registered Nurse (NOC 3012) and I am filling new LMO form as my employer requested to me. I don't no what I have to write for some questions. I need your help....

Question no: 68. Provide a rationale for the job offer you are making to the foreign worker(s) and describe how this will meet your employment needs:

Question no:69. Do you plan to train Canadians citizens/permanent residents for the position(s) for which you are requesting an LMO?

Thanks...

Can anybody pls tell me how much time HRSDC takes for AEO approval......
I have heard from someone that it will take 8 to 10 weeks instead of 8 to 10 months from jan onwards .....
Is this correct.....?
Thanx

Two questions, I am hoping forum members/experts can answer:

1) Should I expect a hard copy of PER mailed to me? (I haven't received it yet, PER through email received on Feb 5)
2) I mailed my PCC to CPP-O and tracking confirms delivery on Feb 12. Would CPP-O email me a confirmation by default, or do I need to query them for a response?

Thanks for your time and help.

Finally got my AOR on 23 feb, 2013 from NewDelhi VO :)
Congrats ShanIndia, we both r lucky :-)
Mysteaka could u please update.

Congrats to both of you. How you got that information? Is it by Mail or e-mail. Is there any change in the E-Cas status. Thank you

When my company applied a LMO for me, my company ask a consultant and the consultant filled all fields by herself. She didn't ask me anything at that time... I didn't do anything for LMO.
As I heard, basically an employer has to fill the LMO form (EMP5517), so I asked my boss yesterday but he said he don't know how to fill... I don't have idea... so sorry... hope other friends/seniors will help you...
I guess that you can get information from HRSDC website, or you may can ask to Service Canada.

No. Usually CIO-Sydney send PER only by e-mail. (If they send PER by regular mail then they won't send PER by e-mail)

> 2) I mailed my PCC to CPP-O and tracking confirms delivery on Feb 12. Would CPP-O email me a confirmation by default, or do I need to query them for a response?
No. CPP-O basically doesn't send any confirmation email/regular mail.
If you want, you can ask them.
However please note that CPP-O will not provide a response to your message, if your application is still within standard processing times (15 months : but... Unfortunately, the processing times are based on historical averages and may not accurately reflect processing times for applications recently received applications).
Keep your "delivery certificate".

Good luck everyone! :)
