Seniors,
can anyone guide us that what is the procedure to apply under AEO ?

Blok45,

I hope you will get shorter waiting time from Vienna than doni :) (he got 4-8 months letter)

I wish you both (dony and blok45) that Vienna speeds up in New year!

Best regards,

trying (pinkerton06) ;)

Hi,

What is next Step after PEr .. how it will take for medical request. I checked on CIC website processing time is 8 months. Any idea how many months after we can get medical request.

Hi Shahid!
Next you will get a letter from your local VO with timeframe(s). Time dipends on many factors such as: how many persons are applying, security check, police record chech etc...After that (I know only one case which lasted 4 month) if everything is ok, you will be asked for Medical. My local VO is Vienna and last year was very slow in processing.

Trying (pinki),
thank you and all the best to you too!

Time frame means ? They will give timline how much time they will take to process

Thanks, Blok how long VO office took to send AOR. Because on this thread I am observing nobody has received AOR yet. I think AOR should be received within 2 to 3 weeks after PER. correct me if i am wrong?

Hello,

So I finally got tired of waiting and decided to send an email yesterday 'January 7th' stating that it had been 2 months since my credit card was charged and no response.

Finally today (Jan-8th) they sent me an email requesting additional information (it seems they had forgotten about me). They asked me to send them Schedule 3 again, the reason being... I mistakenly wrote a 3-digit NOC code instead of 4. The CIC officer highlighted this in the email 'Please be sure to enter the 4-digit NOC code for each occupation listed in question 11'.

I have a question though. This question goes out to everyone who did not need an LMO, namely the ones like me working under a Post-Graduation Work Permit like jibinseb:

Question 3 says:

Do you have an offer of employment in Canada approved by Human Resources Development Canada? No or Yes

HRSDC approval is for me simply the LMO or the AEO, then I said 'NO'. I don't know if this is an error. Jibisen what did you say here?

Thanks in advance

Hi Guys,

Count me in. I applied first week of December from US. Which would be my local VO?

Thanks

Welcome bsingh,

According to Application for permanent residence: Federal skilled worker class (IMM 7000), your local VO is:
  • your country of nationality, or
  • the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one year.

Basically, your local VO must be you selected one on the Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] form ("APPLICATION DETAILS", Q4).
Also, Visa offices outside Canada: Countries / Territories and corresponding Canadian visa offices shows that if you are living in U.S. Trust Territories of the Pacific Islands, your local VO is Manila, otherwise, your local VO is CPP-O (Ottawa).

Can you let us know ;
* When you sent your application?
* When your application received from CIO-Sydney?
So I can add your timeline to our table...

Thanks :)

Thanks ds3010 for shareing your situation.
Hope you get clearly answer soon and our process will be soon completed successfully.

Yes, you are right about AOR-2-3 weeks from receving PER. And, you are wrong about that nobody has received AOR.
e.g. Trying has recived AOR about 3 weeks after PER (look at his sighn)

I am expecting it till the end of January ;)

Good luck!

It is a good idea to put the date for AOR in timetable Mysteaka. Soon we will have a complete imigration information for Canada :D
