Hi shanindia2007,

I think that waiting is the best.
I guess your applications will be returned within a month. If so, you can tick that option ("you") and return your documents to CIO...
If your document won't return and you'll get PER, of course you can contact NVDO to correct your adaptability.

Good luck!

Also My E-CAS is showing my status In Process.
I Have one Question after getting PER still they can reject my permanent residence application?

I read this thread as much as I could but I am still a little lost here...How did you guys find arranged employment in first place? I am also planning to apply under FSW arranged employment but it is so difficult especially in my occupation (PhD in Molecular Biology). Most of the jobs for me are academic, not company jobs.

As I know, they can reject...
If an applicant has criminal record, infectious disease like HIV, T.B.etc, and/or falsities in the application, s/he will be refused.

Below is my poor scribblings (for my reminder) :-[ ;
CIO send applicants PER when s/he passes the initial eligibility review.

After that, the document will be sent the local visa office, so officer will check the applicant's background.
Background checks are two types;
(1) To see if you are associated to any terrorist organizations, or involved in any military or police actions. This is done by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).
(2) To determine if your claims of employment and schooling check out, done by CHC/CIC.
I heard that if his/her background is unclear his/her process will take much more time. In this case, s/he might be called for an interview.

CIC also will request applicants to take the medical exam, and then they will check applicants' medical result.

I think that below will help to know about details;
* However above webpages seem a little different from our cases... (it's probably a bit old.)
