I just checked the timeline sheet. I saw timelines of your and mine are exact the same one. Did you send any email to CPP-Ottawa for requesting updated status ? or its just your believe that we should start receiving our MR in a month and so!! Pray it will come very soon!

Hi guys, hope you can help me. I have a pending application under FSW and got PER already. I am presently here in Canada as a student but I got a job offer from a Canadian employer. I would like to ask if I still need a Labor Market Opinion to apply for a work permit or I can apply for open work permit without an LMO because I already have a PER under FSW? Hope you can help me.

Hello Shaja,
I think, you can go to online tool of CIC website to apply for new work permit or study permit. Try to apply for new work permit. It will ask you few question & as you have got PER in your FSW application, It will give you option to apply for open work permit. I have not applied for one yet but planning to apply for it within few months & recently checked that option. Hope that will help. let me know if you need more information.

No i did not send any email to cpp ottawa but one of my friends did send and they replied saying " We are working on it " . Rest keep waiting it should be done before 13 months .

You can apply for online work permit..I think, If you passed eligibility requirement you will be eligible for open work permit. Just answer questions it will ask you & you will get option to apply for open work permit.

mysteaka and others should have already received their MR and should be on the verge of getting their visas in an ideal world scenario...but that's not true so nothing we can do...i think they are giving more preference to CEC and PNP

Finally got PER. Payment encashed on May 2nd, 2013 & PER issued on July 31, 2013.
