Hello Everyone,
I have been following this section for a while. I applied for my FSW with arranged employment through the ottawa office back in June 2012. To this day I have received the PER in July 2012. My ECAS says in process. Should I be worried that I haven't received any other letter from ottawa office? Thank you for your help!

Mex999 - We need not be worried. Hopefully we all FSW2 should progress this year. You are not the only one.

If you log in your application status you will find a new FAQ link for applications sent to Sydney Nova Scotia FSW(arranged). It states that application sent to ns will show in process and then will show decision made(with medical updates) a bit different process then the FSW regular.
You should receive your PR by the end of this year. Just enjoy the time and wait.

I applied under FSW2 with a Canadian job offer (arranged employment for those currently in Canada- Post Graduate Work Permit). I just got offered a great job/higher NOC that starts off with a one year contract with a possibility of renewal. I am wondering what the consequences of taking this job would have on my application since it was my current employer who gave me the offer of permanent employment.

Please advise.
