Hi all,

Just to give some update on my case (I posted my issue from the GCMS notes few pages before):

I submitted an updated letter from my employer (along with an explanation letter). Now my work experience shows Aug 2011 - July 2013.
Just now I received an email from them:

Good Day,
The enclosed document is attached to your file.
Regards,

I am hoping that means:
1) They have now put this letter to my profile (and thus review my new letter); AND NOT
2) They meant to attach an attachment but it didn't go through..

Anyway, I will keep you guys posted..

The current pace at which things are moving for September 2012 applicants , 13 months processing time is ridiculous. Very less Sept 2012 applicants got medical requests.

I am also waiting , applied on Sept 18, AOR recieved on Nov 9, no news after that!!!

agreed! people are getting so impatient......like they are the only ones waiting. yes, you have waited longer than us, but everything CIC does affects us ALL. if its slower, its not just for you, its for us as well. so, keep in mind its summer vacations, PAFSO strike, leftover applications from other months....hopefully the strike is over in a month or two and they can get back to PR processing. until then....nothing any one of us can do! :)

It's July 6 only.
I should have updated it before few weeks, but lil busy scheduling appointment for medicals.
Had a tough time fixing up an appointment, most of the doctors were out of town on vacation.

Friends...
Anybody else received Medical request, Passport request this month?
Please update the list.
Thank you.

Congrats Braveman :D

Hey everyone, so I just received my GCMS notes. It came 1 month and a day from my request date.

My eligibility assessment is Recommended Pass which I am stoked at!! It would appear that as of a month ago they were still in the process of my criminality check. And as I have not done up front medicals they are not started. But it was near the end of the notes where I had the most relief. They summarize your eligibility and comment on if your duties are sufficient with the NOC and you have worked enough hours for the 24 months. There were no "red flags" so to speak and I now just hope that a senior officer doesn't find any problems or maybe they won't even bother bumping it up to a senior officer. Come on medical request!!
