What is this timeframe based one? Judging by previous months I would think we will get medical requests sooner than that.

Currently in Jan-2013, they are sending MRs for MAY-2012 applicants. Though there are a few of JUN-2012 applicants who got MRs but we need to consider overall. Considering that, we are good 4-5 months away. If someone gets earlier than that it will be a bonus! thanks

Under which category did you applied your PR ... Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skill Worker (FSW), Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and so on ...

This thread is for Sept.2012 Applicants under CEC stream.

I hope we should be getting medical request in next couple of months as i see that May& June applicants are getting it this month. what do u guys think ???


Can any one please tell me how to find out if my file has been transfered to a local office. I looked up on cic website and my status is still Application Recieved. Please advice.

Has any one applied for CAIPS File check yet ?

Yes recent trend seems to be like that i.e., medical request after 7 or 8 months

I think you AoR email confirms that your case is transferred to the visa office that you mentioned in the IMM_0008 forms (but all the application transferred to CPP-O)

Has any one applied for CAIPS File check yet ?
Not to my knowledge and honestly, it is too early to apply for CAIPS

Receipt of Payment/Letter notifying application forwarded to visa office for processing: 24th October 2012

Notified CPP-O of Change in Martial Status: 21st January 2013 (to which they haven't replied yet!)

Online it shows: Application Received

Fingers Crossed!
