As Specified in th Check list, PCCs are valid for a year, so i think you can submit it. All the best.

most likely submission on 20th. Can I include PCC which is little more than 3 months old or do submit new one..

Its full of confusion. As per guide IMM 5609 (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp) PCC must be issued within not more than 3 months from application date and in checklist its 1 year.

In any case you can apply I guess, if they require a up-to-date PCC they will ask you while the application is in process.

Hi guys,

I am in canada now on a work permit, planning to apply under cec.

Considering the delay happening at CPP-Ottawa, can i choose India as the preferred visa office?

will CIO-Nova scotia still send my application to CPP-O? Please clarify.

I read from one of the post that all CEC files are processed at CPP ottawa, even if u choose new delhi they will send back to ottawa.

When I applied I made the mistake of putting the visa office of my home country on my application. When I received my AOR it said my file was transfered to Ottawa.

Under photo specification it says ''bear the date the photo was taken'' So can we just write date behind when picture was taken.

The notes is for the Photographer who takes the picture and they stamp the date behind one of the Photographs. And on the rest 5 photographs, we can just write the date when the picture was taken.

Are we suppose to write by our self .. Name, DOB, and the date of photo graph taken??

I just sent in my application yesterday, AND today i realized that i forgot to include my NOA for the year 2011!

In my opinion:

First Case: If they revert back application package (normally when they find that all required docs are not included they return the application to you)-> Include your NOA-2011 and resend it.

Second Case: If they issue you AOR and forward your application to CPP-O then you can mail your NOA to CPP-O.

You can do that .. but I think, now you do not have any reference number of your application ... Don't know how can Sydney exactly know where to put your additional document ..
