So spreadsheet should be updated i think so have a looksy ;D

Just a doubt. How can the "sponsorship approval date" and "Date app received by vo" be the same??? Doesnt it take some time for the app to reach Vo??? I noticed from New Delhi thread that it takes 8 to 14 days for the app to reach ND after the sponsor got approved. Can anyone clarify on this...

it depends some VO send it the same day

U r thinking too much of this process the spreadsheet is a GUIDE not a bible so dont take it so serious; also some people have not gotten the date as to when their VO receives the app so its either we take out that column bcuz it really means nothing or leave it in

No offence meant. I just had a doubt so asked :)

So, how is everybody doing? For the people i missed who got approved.. Congratulations! No PPR in September group?? Lol, just kidding!

Is this only on me, but is the time going SLOWWWW :D

Miss my wife! And the dam Christmas is coming up without her :(.

Hey Marco.....are you really not going to spend Christmas with your wife?....I feel really sad for you! at least we have technology so you can virtually see her....still sucks though

Wow. Sep is moving pretty smooth and almost done 2/3 of applications. I think CICM is pushing hard so they can chill in dec and go on long vacation...

True. But they have lowered timeline from 70 to 66 days so it will go even lower in new 3-4 weeks and then it will shoot up to high 60s. (Just my prediction) I hope i m wrong about it though :D

You are not wrong my friend. Lot of people go on vacations in Summer and during Xmas. So the actual time for processing is best in Spring and Fall. I mean March - May, June and then September to Mid December.

ya i know. I was just trying to be nice with oct folks. :) We shouldn't expect too many approvals in last two wks of dec and first two wks of jan.

Hi all,

I received a letter dated November 15th that I was accepted as sponsor and the file is sent on to Lima. Any idea how they send the files overseas? Hopefully not by regular post. If so you it would take a month or more. But I can't really see them spending the money for Fedex either.

Well, we did pay $1040 each for this process, and they can put multiple files together in one package to cut costs. So it is possible they use a courier service. It's even possible they have their own couriers, after all they're part of the government!

Congratulations on your sponsorship approval!
