Hi,
I got my PR card six months ago. Sadly my husband and I have been having some problems and are looking to live separately.

1) does this affect my chances of getting my citizenship?
2) he has threatened to file false claims about me to immigration saying he will jeopardize my citizenship. Can he do that or is my PR permanent at this point?

Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry to heat that.
Once you did the landed, you have become a permanent resident totally separated from your husband.
I would suggest if you have more questions, you would put it in the forum designated for this, as this forum is for citizenship applications and questions.

There used to be condition where a sponsored spouse was suppose to cohabit with partner for minimum two years which was removed by govt in 2017 i believe. So now if a spouse wants to live separately or do not want to be in a relationship its ok he/she can do that. Thats my understanding you can seek advice from an expert by posting of spousal sponsorship thread

Keep any text messages or emails where he has specifically threatened to file false claims against you. Save screenshots and print hard copies of anything you think might be useful in proving your innocence. Hopefully you'll never be in the situation where you need to use them.
