I have been living in Canada with my husband for six month. Now we are having problems with life here which has influenced our relationship.

So I decided to get devorced. My question is:

Is there going to be any legal consequences regarding his status as a permanent resident in Canada, since I was the principal applicant for FSW application?

If so, what would they be?

This rule only applies to spousal sponsorships. The OP and her husband migrated through the FSW (federal skilled worker) program.
