Hi i got accepted in a college in alberta and im currently separated with my wife but not legally. Should i declare the truth or not because im thinking it will affect my application because having someone back home will make my ties to my home country better but lying on the application might makes matters worst. Pls help i need assistance thank you!

By not telling the truth your friend is bordering on misrepresentation, and risking a five year ban . You tell the truth , ALWAYS. It’s a visa they are applying for , not a library card
