Separated from hubby with no means of contacting him

Please I need clarity. I intend to apply for provincial nominee to Canada. But my marital status is the issue. I have a kid and abandon by my married husband without a divorce. I intend to commence divorce process even though I have no idea about the man where about.
Can I apply for immigration process without a completed divorce process or I need to complete the divorce before I can applied?

If I can applied what will be my marital status or what do I need to get for PnP

No I don’t have the legal custody. However, I one out of the two boys is in my custody while the second child is with his family.

Generally speaking, you have to provide documents that show you have sole legal custody of a child (or alternatively obtain the other parent's written consent) if you wish to bring the child to Canada.

Okay, after that what do I need next to back my application. More so what will I be declaring legally separated or divorce.
What other document ull I be needing to back any of the declared status. Considering the fact that divorce process takes a longer time and I dnt have access to the man. All communications from the law will have to be routed through his parents

Spouse is not in contact and in-laws are not allowing her to talk, kid is in their custody in my case.
