Separated, but not officialy divorced. How to apply for PR?

Hi everyone,
I am confused right now with my papers for PR, can somebody help me, please? I am separated with my wife, I am in Canada, she is in Europe. We have child. Now I want to apply for PR here by CIC program, I have everything, what I need for the requirements. Just I have one "small" problem and I don't know how to solve it. I would like to apply without my wife, what should I write in the forms about spouse? If I will start divorce process, it will take a long term. What could you suggest to me about it?

Hi,
I am in the exact same situation, but without a child (Thank Goodness!), my wife lives in Europe and we are separated! But, we are DIVORCED.
You need to be DIVORCED or legally separated and you need provide documentation to the immigration officers with regards to the same.

Hope that this helps OR you apply with your wife and I know that you and her may not be in good terms, but these are your only options.
