Hi, I’m Canadian and my common law partner (and stepchild) has been approved for PR under Family Sponsorship / Outside Canada with me as sponsor.
We live outside Canada together with our dual citizen child and my partner’s child (stepchild). Due to various circumstances, we would now like to consider separate returning arrivals (me taking our dual citizen child ahead to Canada with me first) then my partner and stepchild arriving together after. Is this permissible if I am the sponsor? Can the principle applicant land later in this Family-Sponsor-Outside situation? Embassies are closed and cannot find an answer, so thank you in advance for your help.
Please and thank you

Yes you can do that. I arrived back in Canada before my husband arrived and he had no problem at all.
