i got a letter from college as stated below:::::::::::::::::::::

It is important that you attend the first week of classes. Humber cannot provide extensions for late arrivals; you must be registered and attending classes by the fifth day of classes.

If you have not received your study permit, or are unable to attend classes by the fifth day of class, you must request a refund of your tuition payment and you will be subject to a $500.00 CAD administration fee prior to the tenth day of classes.

A full tuition refund will only be given if you submit your Canada Immigration study permit refusal letter to Humber’s International Centre by the tenth day of class.

If you wish to transfer your admission and fees to the next semester, you must contact Humber’s International Centre before the first day of orientation. You will be subject to a $500.00 CAD administration fee.
now wat r d options left for me coz i will hav to request a refund of fees to the 10th day of class as stated above in letter?????????????????????????????

I must say you are fixed !

First, you did a huge mistake by paying the first term fees in advance. Who told you that its important to pay in advance ? Even CHC do not ask students to "must pay" first term fees. Even I didn't pay anything !


What I understood from your letter that you won't get any any refund after 10th day. Am I right ?


Now you can;


1. Write to your school (before the 10th day) that you want to cancel your admission with immediate effect but require extension to produce letter of refusal as you are not in a position to get it since the Consulate General of Canada, Chandigarh has prolonged
the processing of file.


2. Or you can defer your admission upto January as suggested in the letter (do it only if you are sure of getting visa otherwise "$500 to gaye, January mein phir se $500 jayenge = $1000"

i think in case u get refusal from embassy then college will not deduct any fee if u deffer or ask for refund......
but without refusal letter they will deduct your fee...

i hav previous refusal letter in dis session cud i use dem??
today, already i had mail to humber international dept. & chc chd.,and chc delhi regarding dis situation.

if i did not paid d fees of 1st semester den how cud v got acceptance letter from college to submit in embassy.
can anyone submit d file in embassy widout acceptance letter or wid offer letter only?HuhHuh??

Sorry I was not aware of the fact that Humber issue LOA only after the payment of first term fees. Something quite weird !


I think you should use your first letter of refusal. That's the only way now !


On this forum only one SPP applicant (Jassik) have so far received a call from CHC CHD around 13 days back to take medical and to submit letter of late registration (or letter of deferral upto Jan Intake).
