I've one query regarding documentation. I've PCC which is 10 months old now. Can I use the same PCC or should apply for a new one ?

You should apply for a new one. As per my knowledge CIC wants the PCC to be no older than 6months on the day of your application. Also PCC is valid for 12 months only so whybtake chances.

If this PCC is for your current country of residence, you cannot use the same and will have to get another as it is valid only for 6 months.

If this is not for your current country of residence, it is valid indefinitely provided you haven't lived in that country for more than 6 months in a row since getting this PCC.

Thanks Asivad for clarifying !!

Hi guys,

Regarding medicals, is it done after receiving any email or can be done after getting ita. I'm not sure about the process.

Medicals should be done from authorized Panel Physician in your country.

" Document requirements

The medical examination confirmation is required upfront at the time of application and must be valid for a minimum of six months.
The applicant must include the immigration medical examination (IME) number in their e-APR.
The applicant must provide a copy of either the information printout sheet or the Upfront Medical Report form [IMM 1017B], whichever the panel physician provides upon completion of the medical examination.
Exceptions are made only in rare circumstances that are outside of the client’s control (e.g., cancellation of appointment by panel physician at last minute without time to reschedule).
In exceptional circumstances, CIC may accept

proof that a medical appointment is scheduled; or
a letter of explanation of best efforts."

My first application was cancelled. I now received new ITA. All my docs that I sent with previous app are dated mid August. Should I get a fresh copy of any docs? POF?

The documents that are usually date-dependent are,

1. PCC

2. POF

3. Medicals

4. Any other information that changed in the interim AND make a material difference to your application.

Pcc validity is 6months right? Do I am still good.
Medicals validity ? Done in the end of July
POF - 6 months prior to submitting the app after ITA, right?

Could someone please provide the link for a working "Proof of Funds" topic link please.

I know most of us do not have the money in our bank accout and we will have to get it by gift , ficed deposits, etc. If some senior can guide us, it will be a great help

Also if someone has a working format for the Work Experience proof letter, it wil be helpful. We might miss to get certain obvious details in the work experience letter which can cost us dearly.

As always , thanks for the help !

try this monsier,

Got an ITA today at 450 points. Documentation starts now. Any clue on how much one needs to shell out for both primary applicant and spouse? Including RPRF?

Also, the police clearance certificate needs to be submitted for both or only the primary applicant?

Thanks,
Anuj
