Hey guys, I am currently living with my husband in India and we applied outland for his PR. After receiving my SA, I was requested to send the undertaking application to the Provincial Government, since I am (sponsor) a Quebec resident. The application was received on january 18th. I'd like to know how long it might take to get an answer from them?
Is there any way of following the application process online??
Will they contact us for any updates??

Any help/answer would be appreciated.

Normally it's 25 days, but now they have too much requests and they cannot respect this delay. On their website, they wrote they are currently working on requests received in November... I guess you only have to wait. :-X This should not add delay to your final visa anyway. Unfortunately there's no way to track your application online. And yes, if something is missing, they will contact you. :)

Thanks for the info. I just hope to get news from there side as soon as possible....2-3 months is a long waiting time... Doubles the stress with PR application....
 
Hi.. It's taking forever for MIDI to process our apps. They received our application Oct.3 and until now no news! Over 3 months now since You can call them anyway to follow up if the date of your application is over the date specified in their website. But as of now they are still treating apps received by Nov.9. My husband did call them but was just told that our application is in process and just have to wait.. Sigh!

Ya I was also told it takes abt 3 months now to process the application. I just hope it wont delay our PR application...
Btw are you getting any news from your visa office while waiting for ur csq?

No news from MVO since AOR2. I'm actually wondering if they have started processing my apps and is just waiting for the CSQ amd PPR right away. I really hope this is the case and not that they put away my file and only start working on it once they have the CSQ.
