Don't worry, I sent my passport to this wrong address for final Visa stamping as well, on August 11th, 2024 and got it stamped and delivered back on August 19th. I think by this point in 2024, IRCC is used to people making this mistake, so they've just streamlined the process. Some other replies seem to be quite old. I live around Vancouver.

You've basically still sent your passport to the IRCC, it's just that this mailing address is for initial applications and not for Visa stamping, but they seem to know people make this mistake so they should take care of it.

It was just 8 days for me, ofc it might take longer for you, I live around Vancouver, BC, you'll get a notification on your IRCC account when your counterfoil is generated, and then you can track the tracking number on the return parcel if you kept a photo of it.

If you’ve sent your passport to the wrong Case Processing Centre (CPC), act quickly by contacting both the correct and incorrect CPCs. Use the IRCC web form to notify them of the error, providing your application number, personal details, and tracking information. Contact the incorrect CPC to ask if they can either forward the passport to the correct office or return it to you. Track the shipment with your courier, and consider asking them to reroute the package if it's still in transit. Be prepared for possible delays, and follow up promptly with the correct CPC to ensure your application continues smoothly.
