Sent my Ontario PNP to CIC

Hello fellows,

I sent my Ontario PNP and complete permanent residence application to Sydney, Nova Scotia. They got it in Sydney on May 30,2014. It has been over 3 months and I didn't get anything about my status from them(no emails or mail). How long it takes normally to get my file number? Please share your timeline.

Hi All,

I emailed CIC on August 10st, 2014 about my permanent application that they received on May 30, 2014. They replied on Sept 19, 2014 to that email in August saying that my application is still waiting for review. After 3.5 month they havent reviewed my application in Sydney yet!

ON PNP application received by CIC on July 17, 2014. Contacted CIC yesterday and my application hasn't been reviewed yet... so it's sitting on someone's desk in Sydney CIO waiting. In two days it will be 10 weeks since they received my application. Ugh.

I sent my PR application to CIO Nova scotia on june 22 , 2014. they received it on june 23, 2014. I have applied after nomination from ON PNP . No answer still waiting . I have emailed them twice and no answer. Any one have any idea .

It looks the majority of application that were submitted starting from May 2014 got delayed for some reasons. A friend of mine applied in March April March and got his file number in 3 weeks.
