dear all,

I sent my medical two months back and now waiting for PPR & PP request, now can i change my visa office from one country to another country. becuase i have changed the job in other country. now please suggest what i do if they request my passport because from my home country I can send but how i can send from middle east, becasue witout passport u cannot stay in middle east (except ur home country), and company will not give me long leave becasue i am new employee

There are lot of people who have applied from middle east but send the passport to London visa office. Well if your employer will not release the passport then I will advise you to decide on the job or on your Canadian PR as if you email CHC about this situation they will not speed up the stamping or processing towards stamping but might return your passport and ask later(Might). It is up to you to decide now.

Dear GM,

I don't see where lies the prob, thru your post? As Rocky suggested, we from the GCC always send our Pps to London, all the time. We remain w/out pps for 30 days and 99% within that time our Pps return with the visa/s.

So, where's the prob of staying w/out pps for a short time in this region? Even if your employer doesn't give u the pps for CHC tasks, U can always ask for it saying that u need to open a bank a/c or for some consulate work or visa translation etc. [the reasons could be many].

Then send it to London instead & do not return it to the employer till the time u get it back from London. Yes, the HR Manager will keep asking, but we can always make some frivolous excuses... for 30 days. That's never a big deal. Note also, that there r many-many here with your exact situation.

No you can't change visa offices, here is what CIC states

Visa offices are not required to transfer files for any other reasons. Such reasons include cases of applicants who comply with subsection R11(1) for the specified visa office, at the time the application is received at the CIO, but subsequently leave the territory of the specified visa office. In these cases, the original visa office should proceed with a final determination of eligibility and process the application if eligible. The visa office should not transfer the file to another visa office unless the transfer is warranted for program integrity reasons. Leaving a visa office’s territory alone does not warrant a file transfer. In this case, if an applicant requests a file transfer, the visa office should inform them that the application will not be transferred and that they are required to submit a complete application to the visa office originally specified within the 120 day deadline allotted by the CIO.
