Dear friends,
I have a problem..
I live in Iran and I have difficulty to pay my application fee since there is no International money order or certified check or bank draft found here. So I decided to send my competed forms to my sister in Canada and she will forward my forms with attached money orders. But I am a little worried if they accept my forms which are sent from inside of Canada. Also is that a problem that the money orders have been provided inside of Canada? Will they reject my forms? (I am under category 1 of skilled worker)

International bank draft in our country is usually called demand draft. It's hard to believe that no bank makes an intl. bank draft.

I dont think there should be any problem as long as the form is posted to the correct address with the correct fee (in OR convertable to CAD)

If you know some people in Canada, you can forward your docs to them, they can append a draft and then forward your application, I think that may work.

In Pakistan, You normally need to have a foreign currency account to have a demand draft, you can use someone else`s account too.

You should note that all applications for Cat 1 to Sydney require fees in Canadian funds.

PMM. Thanks for correcting my mistake. I thought that in some circumstances CIC accepts funds in any major currency.

I have a question for you.. According to the We Do Not Accept section bank drafts drawn on banks outside of Canada are not acceptable. So if I get a bank draft on a foreign currency account in Pakistani bank will it be acceptable? Or does that bank need to have its operations in Canada as well?
