Sent copy of ECA report instead of Original

Hi,

It was mentioned in the document checklist that we have to send copy of ECA report. But later i realized that I had to send the original ECA report. I sent my application on 6th June 2014 and they received it on 11 june 2014.

I am worried if my application will be returned due to this.

Hi Mates!

i completed my Master's Degree from UK, while my Bachelor's Degree was from India. After following one of the threads in this website, i only sent the Master Degree details for evaluation to WES.

My evaluation is completed and my report says that my degree is equivalent to Canadian Master's Degree. However, under one of the headers named "Admission Requirements", it says "Bachelor's Degree".

Does this report satisfy the requirement for my FSWP application? Or does it mean that i need to submit my Bachelor's degree credentials to WES?

Please help as i need to send my FSWP application soon.

Those 'Admission Requirements' mean that for getting admission into a Master's degree of the type you did, the admission requirement is a Bachelor's degree.

You are all set. Use the report, will fetch you 23 points.

. A member posted an actual letter from the CIO indicating reason of return due to ECA report.

Anyway, think positive.

The website states:

When you apply as a federal skilled worker with a foreign educational credential, an original ECA report must:

- be included with your application along with proof of your foreign credential,

If you do not submit this assessment when you apply, your application is not complete. We will not process it and will send it back to you.

It is exactly correct to sumit an original ECA report.
