Sent Application Form and documents to Buffalo Embassy Instead of SC

I have sent the Application form for FSW, Fee, and all Documents to the Buffalo Office. Later I came to know that I had to send the application form and Fee to NS office first. Please let how they are going to Treat my application.
Pls help.

if you sent it after nov 2008, then they would return it to you and you can send it then to NS. i presume you are in FSW category 1.

I have no idea. Well if you are lucky, they will send it to Sydney for you, but i doubt it.

I did the same and I my application was sent back to me within a few weeks.They won't send it to Sydney NS and it won't be any use if they did as you need to send the fee in CAD with your application to Sydney NS.
If you don't have the check in CAD,I would suggest you start the procedure for getting it as it took me nearly a week to obtain a check in CAD.

P.S.I presume the check you made would be in USD.

Also in approximately, how many weeks did you receive your application back.
Actually I am worried that it may not take 2-3 months to get the application back.

WHy wait for it to get back. why don't you apply to Sydney straight away now?
I think you can get a postal money order in CAD in the US.

I would have done that, but the problem is that still by chance Buffalo Visa Office may send the Forms to Sydney,NS. In that case it will add to the confusion.
Also for how long are the police certificated valid. I have already received them from FBI. In case they return the application then I send it again to Sydney and get a reply back, it may take few months.
Please advice.

You need to make a "international bank draft" from some bank that would make it.I got it made from Chase but only if you have a account there.Many banks dont even know what that is.

Also the Police certificates are valid for 3 months.

How do you know they will send your forms to Sydney?I dont think that is part of their process.I got my documents back.
To save time it would make sense to send your documents to Sydney before the Police certificates expire.
But again it is what you think best.

i think they don't send it to your visa office, they enter some information onto the system and the information get downloaded by the visa offices.
