I am MI3 skilled worker applicant. From my GCMS notes I came to know that when calculating my Proof of funds by mistake visa officer take Currency Saudi Riyal (SAR) instead of Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Where as my original proof of funds currency is Pakistani Rupees (PKR).

Due to this mistake the amount of proof of funds is very high, that is 1.3 million CAD. and visa officer has concern on it. His comments are

"Also of concern is the large amount of funds when converting balance in account on 26 October 2011 (page flagged). LICO-Evidence of $20,654 required for family of 4 people – applicant has provided evidence of $1.3 million CND equivalent (shown in file in Saudi Riyals)******Unusually high amount- please review; and if essential request updated evidence of SA’s."


Please advise should I inform visa officer for his mistake or wait for any correspondence/action from him.

You don't need to inform anything now about the funds until you get any inquiry from the visa office.

I would advise you to inform he Visa officer about the mistake, may be upon your e-mail they will look into your file and correct the mistake and process it, else it will be put aside until the review will be done on its due date or dependent on Visa officer.

Hi Junaidwpk,

In my opinion you should inform visa officer. Include a copy of fund/bank statement and highlight the currency (PKR). (It will avoid delay of reviewing & requesting update by VO, you can update your file and information at any time).

vo gotconfused bcz u r livin in sa and u provided funds in pak rs

y didnt u provide sar currency

wen senior officer look at ur file mistake will be rectified or u can just send them email that u have noticed this thing in gcms, only email is enough, dont waste money on couriers
