Thanks guys. Much appreciated inputs from all of you. I have decided not to delay anything on the Citizenship front. I will spend extra money for oath ceremony but do not want to invite any RQs.

Thanks again.

Hi all,

I have got my oath date moved and rescheduled within a month, but you have to bring sufficient proof for that. Don't skip the test, this is the final gate that you have to cross and risk getting RQ'd if you don't attend. However, at the test bring a letter from your employer and any other proof that you might have, school admissions for kids at the new school, rent/lease/purchase documents for property for the new place and so on. Bring this to the test and present it to your officer. Tell them the reason for the move and ask them how it is going to affect the file. The OP has been lucky with moving quickly in the process, so it seems like your application is pretty straight forward. The officer will be honest with you and tell you your options and you can then schedule your oath(or not) accordingly. However, bring all the paperwork with you! This is very important.

Cheers,
