Seniors pls help - Another confusion (STATUS IN CANADA)

hello guys,

I have been staying in canada for the last one year with a work permit/temporary resident visa.

what should i fill in the background declaration form where , it says , country of residence , status in that country ?

pls help me.

As long as you are residing in Canada now (temporarily) at the time of filling the application , you should mention that the country of residence is Canada and your status in that country is (on temporary work permit), while there must be some other clarification in the form where it asks for your country of citizenship,

that it is how I recall it, any suggestions from other respectable members?

i wrote it as temporary resident , is that okay (as i have TRV - temporary resident visa) - please suggest.
