Dear Friends,

I applied for FSW and submitted my full documents along with RPRF to NDVO Visa office in December 2010; I got my AOR on April 13.(RPRF is also cashed by visa office)

Since then there is no update, e-CAS status shows RVBO status.

Following are some of the details:

• Initial Application to Visa office: May 20, 2010
• 1st AOR: Sept 29th 2010
• Full Docs: December 2010
• 2nd AOR: Jan 2011
• NOC Code: 2174 / 2173(Software Programmer/Analyst)
• Eligibility Criteria: Temporary Foreign Worker with more then 1 year of work experience in Canada

Since the NOC codes under which I had applied are no longer in the priority list
My assumption is that processing of file is either stopped or the file is being shelved for some reason.

Currently I am in Canada and I have more then 3 years of work experience in Canada.

Shall I wait for some more time or withdraw the application and file under Canadian Experience Class ?.

ND is processing 80% of applications within 15 months of the receipt of the complete application.

Thanks PMM for your reply
but I doubt IT consultants are being considered for processing...
in my opinion NOC Code is the main thing for your application to be processed

Many Thanks

You could have two applications simultaneously. You can apply for CEC while the FSW application is in process. You will be asked to withdraw one of them....remember you will not get a refund of Processing fees if the application goes in Process.

Thanks for your input Mitali,

I really do not know if the application is in process or not, I called up Call Center for change of address 4 months back
E-Cass still displays the old address.

In Case I withdraw my application will the RPRF returned back? I sent RPRF with complete docs

Regards
Manu

Hi Manu,

You could send an explanation letter why you would like to withdraw your previous application and request for a refund for the RPRF fees since there is no indication from VO that your application has actually gone into IN Process status.
