Hello Everyone

My work permit expired in November 2011, I applied for study permit which is expiring in August 2014. I filed under CEC which was refused first time (VO rejected my file b'coz I was short by 12 days in the 24 month period according to the old CEC rules).

I reapplied in August 2013 and I have got my AOR in october. I haven't studied during this time

I am hoping I will get a positive result this time but just in case I get a rejection second time.. What are the other options I can consider to go on a work permit and a possible immigration before my status expires in Canada in august this year

I think if your documents are fine, that you will be accepted, and there is nothing to worry.
Still, you can apply for another program at the same time (for example, FSW)... I guess it is possible...
And look for a job (you can try US as well, this is also a good country to work)
