bro , plus with uvic you get an option of co-op with all there courses....!! you can work in an paid internship
for half the length of ur program....if your program length is 2 years , you can take 3 co-op terms....!!!

tak will help you a big deal ...... plus the fees is moderate for grad students....u can get TA's ..........

I myself m goin to uvic this fall , based on ur profile u have decent changes to get thru ....!!

Of those three choices, have a good look into U Vic. I did my nursing degree there. It is a lovely university, nice size, short distance to downtown Victoria which is a lovely city and the capital of BC. Weather in Victoria is gentle and you will save on clothing as you will only need waterproof boots and jackets compared to -40C winter wear. Summers are sunny and temperate, too. Good luck.

Thank you Harsh. Uvic is on the top of my list. I am applying only in the universities with coop programs victoria Regina windsor and Dalhousie.

windsor is expensive nd not worth the money it takes, strike it of... concordia would be better that windsor at a lower tuition rates...

concordia meng is abt 14k for a year....!! windsor is even more expensive....

Okay bro. I'll add both of them. For univ of Victoria the deadline is 15 th September for the May 2014 intake. How much time do they generally take to confirm whether I'm admitted or not? I'm asking this as for rest of the Universities I'm applying for jan 2014 intake. Can I change the university later.

go to ur dept website, look for some people to correspond, check if you could still apply
to course based masters for JAN , becoz it oesnt need supervisors....If not apply to may.

u get decision in usually 3-4 months....

I did check the website and it say the last date was April 15 to apply for January intake.
However I've dropped a mail as well regarding the same concern.
While checking the graduate admission requirements for India I came across the following
INDIA 8/10 IIT or 7/10 IIT Delhi
Does it meant I ahould hold an IIT degree or something?

For seniors out there, MEngg is being really competitive these days as much as M.A.Sc. For instance, a friend of mine applied in UoR and got rejection even after having 75% in UG. Moreover, a girl got the admit into M.A.Sc with 65%. This is really annoying. My profile is 7.06 in UG with an overall B- grade, IELTS 7 and I'm applying for the spring 2014 in the UoR UoSaskatchewan UoVictoria SFU and Carleton uni. Plz help me choose between MEngg and MASc.

PS : No published papers but decent internships and projects

1-Gulliver & 2-Gabrael .
donu senior professors hain , good luck my dear . just professors ko raazi kero and then admission wont be a problem at all .
