They have not yet even issued 1/10 of the PRs that they projected in cap.

Not sure what this means - the cap is for AORs and the current cap is about 30% full.

If you meant that few people who applied under the current cap have landed, that is true - I imagine that figure would be exactly 0%.

From 25th July No once has received an PPR request ? Its been close to a month , doesn't it look fishy ?

Guys...I have a news..not a good one though...the quota for this year is already over and now they CIC will drag the process to next year. I am also sailing in the same boat and seems the boat will take 4+ months to reach the bank :-(

What does it mean ? Is there something Quota apart from Caps already? Is it some sort of hoax or is there any truth in above statement ?

Please share views .
Just sharing this email we got from CIC delayed Aug 8, 2014: not sure if this is something related to delays or quota:

The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on June 06, 2013.
Initial assessment is still in process by the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
Initial assessment has been finalized and the application has been transferred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, on February 13, 2014.

Any comment please... I'm so worried by now that we need to wait until Jan. 2015, Our Ecas status as July 12 - MEDICAL RECEIVED

did you got RPRF request?

Also many people who submitted passport in July didnt got their passport back too ....and i was reading in one of the threads that their passports will be send on or after 25-Sep.... so not sure if CIC trying to slow down deliberately or their staff preparing themselves for Express entry to start
from Jan'15.

Why they are pushing it to a certain date that too next year ? If that is the case then the guy who actually posted it was true .
What CIC is upto ? I hope that they will only delay the application not cancelling it by any means , that will scare the hell out of me .

That is why I'm publishing this email from CIC, I don't know what to do anymore even preventing me to follow up even before Jan 2015 and worrying that they might refuse our application if I'm gonna follow up again by email or seek again the MP to follow up our application. I hope that VO got a compassionate and considerate heart for all of us aspiring to get our PR status approved and not to keep us waiting and guessing what is the real thing happening. :(

So not sure......

Hi

This all started from a rumour from one person and look at the panic it has caused.

Please be rational, last week it's because of vacation, this week it's because of a cap rumour, please let's all get a grip.

CIC will only tell you to check back after your 13 months is up, that is their official guideline.

Thx

+1. There's too much panic in these forums, more so than contributions.

I agree with Dr_Midnite.

Also, why would CIC just stop processing or slow down processing of old applications, specially with express entry coming up. The logical course of action seems to be to reduce the backlog so when express entry starts it will have their full attention.

Until this user can provide a source for these allegations, they are just rumours.

seniors please explain this? I agree that they are just rumours but according to the above quote maybe it is true! I don't won't to spread panic but many people here including my self we are so scared for our applications and now we see and hear that rumours and it is logical to worried . I am a September applicant and I am waiting for my PPR for me and common-law for almost 5 months now. I haven't work for almost 4 months and I was waiting for my papers so I can go to work so you can understand my worries .

I don't know what's causing your delay but it shouldn't be quota. You submitted your application in June 2013, before the quota came into effect...

Did you order GCMS notes? Do you have eligibility passed on the notes?
