Hello guyss ....
I am studying in the sheridan college,davis campuss in the 2nd sem. i came here in january....
So according to the new rules i applied for letter of confirmation of work permit in which they asked us to put letter of attendence which should have date of birth and some other details but initially due to lack of knowledge i downloaded the default letter of attendence from my sheridan( accesssheridan) account which was not having my date of birth and some other details .... i applied with that .......there is no reply from the cic yet
What should i do ??
should i apply once again with the new letter of attendence which is having all details or should i wait for their reply .....

First, make sure that you actually need a confirmation letter in order to get SIN. I got my SIN based on study permit only. If you study permit says "may accept employment". They will give you your SIN without a job offer in a few minutes.

I don't think universities put DOB in enrollment verification.. like for example in my university there are there types of enrollment verification "Standard", "detailed" and "semesters attended". I have the standard enrollment verification and it doesn't include my DOB too!

NO it is not mentioned in my study permit ......
Now colllege putting everything in the letter of attendence
as i downloaded it yesterday, It was the updated one and was having everything which CIC mentionded in their website

You need to submit Letter of Acceptance or Enrolment. I sent a request today, Hopefully i can get that done by 12th July

i got confirmation of work permit from cic yesterday ..................
now do you have any idea what to do ??
and how much fee we have to pay while applying SIN ??

its free.. just go to the Service Canada.. when did you apply?

It took about 14 Business days .

I sent the request on 4th with Letter of Acceptance and other general information at https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.

Let me know if you followed the same procedure ?
