Seniors Please Advice regarding the new rules

Dear All,

My classes will commence from 1st September 2014. I am planning to book my flight for 25th of July. According to the new rules I will get my work permit and study permit at the canadian airport. I want to know will i be applicable to work part time from the day I enter in Canada or I will need to wait until my classes start.

Also travelling 35 days prior to classes wont be a problem right? I am sure the immigration officer will ask me why i came early and I will tell him that my family is in Toronto and I want to spend some time with them. Also I will need to sort out my accommodation

hey ..there is no problem with the booking u can take a flight 1 month prior to the classes ..and no to work as a student first u have to be student ..unless ur classes start u wont be able to work..yes IO will ask u certain questions because they become suspicious that one might work illegally before the classes start ..even my classes start from 25th aug .. i booked a flight on 30th july .

Yeah better to book ur flight only 30 days early not before that...as it makes them suspicious of our intentions...
Try to fly in aug so u can say tht u r flyin only 30 days early...n they wont suspect u if u r only a mnth early
