Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi guys,
I am Ankur Desai.
I have got positive reply from sydney .
Now I am preparing my file to be launched to CHC, New Delhi.
I am on a student visa to australia.
I have applied from there on 1st april and I got reply on 19th may .
I met with an accident after submitting my file and thus I had to return to India.
Now I have asked for AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE CHECK for me and my wife.
DO I have to have a finger print check ?
Well we have allready received my wife's PCC and awaiting mine.
More over on CIC website in area of PCC from India it says for NRI they have to contact local Indian embassy!
but I am India allready.
So can I get my PCC by self from my city?
Hope I get a prompt reply,
Ankur

1. YOu are no longer a NRI, get your PCC in India, follow the instructions.
2. You and your wife require fingerprint criminal records checks from Australia, make sure with a covering letter, that they are sent to you rather than the Sydney Australia office.

The Australian police will automatically send the PCC to the Canadian office in Sydney, you have to tell them to send it to you.

You and your wife need PCC from India. Best way is to go to passport office and request for PCC. It takes only 5-6 days.

Hi PMM/seniors/all forum members,
Ankur here.
I am in India now after being in australia for 10 months so I have to get NATIONAL POLICE CHECK from australia.
I have applied for it and I have got it for me and my wife.
But I have not asked for Fingerprints check and it was just a regular police check1
Will it do?
Or do I have to have a new police check?
Can you tell me how to get finger prints done for Police check?
]Please guide me,

"When all else fails, read the instructions"
You and your spouse require a fingerprint based check. see:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/australia.asp and ensure you read this

If your application is being processed by another Canadian mission overseas or by an office in Canada, enter the postal address of that office at section 4 of the Australian Federal Police National Police Check (NPC) Application Form.

Fingerprint based check, they suggest that you send it to Delhi, but if you have sent to you and then you send it to Delhi, you will know when it arrived. Just a suggestion.
