Are there available jobs for SBA with PMP and ITIL certification? As per FSW the position falls under NOC 1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management which is currently under priority occupation list. Does that mean I am assured to get the same job that I have now? and at the earliest possible time after arrival in Canada?

Appreciate to receive comments so as to weigh my option to proceed...
Thanks guys...

What they say on the web site and NOC is not relevant to what is actually available in the job market , the most important question is .....Do you have Canadian work experience?

A few things...

1) This NOC has reached its cap. You can only migrate under this NOC if you have a job offer in Canada.

2) No one is ever assured they will get the same job in Canada they have now. This is one of the risks of immigrating.

Hi,

thanks for your comments guys.

actually i have over 20 years of experience. 18 years in IT (8 years supervisory and 2 years as IT Operations Manager) in a multinational company based in Switzerland, the last 3 years as Consultant and SBA here in a government entity in UAE doing strategy, performance and project management jobs. I am currently preparing my dissertation for my MSc in Adv IT and Business Management degree from University of Wales and is planning to take on Balance Scorecard Professional certification in the coming months.
Are these qualifications not enough to secure a related job in Canada?

We haven't told by our agent that NOC 1122 is filled up infact they are encouraging us to proceed with our application.

Appreciate to receive more feedback to decide on migration opportunities.

Unfortunately qualifications alone will not secure a job in Canada, have you worked for any Canadian company?

While Newtone is correct that very often Canadian experience is critical -- here is a good news story (blog) of someone that landed in their target industry, which was IT with no prior Canadian experience and did it in just over 2 months.

It won't happen like this for everyone -- but it can happen.

You have to have back-up plans if it doesn't happen as quickly as you'd like, but enjoy this uplifting blog!

Thanks Newton and Cdn.

Actually i haven't worked in any Canadian company but my boss was a Canadian expat in UAE. Also the company i've worked for 18 years was Swiss based.
I read the link and it was inspiring to see people achieved their goals. i also have a friend who was accepted as a support application analyst only after 2 or 3 months of arrival. So i agree that it depends on the person on how determined he is.

Are there lots of companies dealing with strategy and performance management, process improvement and project management jobs in Canada?
Is MSc degree from Univ of Wales recognized in Canada?

Some of the Commonwealth countries 'seem' to have an easier time for equivalency, but you'll still need to apply dirrectly to validate your education:
