Hello Folks,

Are there any people here going to Seneca for Fall 21? If yes, please join here, so we can discuss and share some details here.

submitted my application for supply chain management on 18 June
I heard a lot of refusals made by CPC Ottawa in recent months, which concerns me greatly.

Not sure about this, I have seen a refusal to Seneca yesterday in a student group. The reason was "will not leave Canada".
May I know which country you're applying from, possibly with your timeline.
Thanks

No further information from my representative, I guess the next thing he will inform me is the VO's decision.

An RCIC I followed in Wechat said that she has seen a surge in refusals for study permit since February, and the most decisions were made by CPC Ottawa. Hope my case will be processed by other offices.

The surge in refusals is something I agree with too, as I have read, from several platforms, that they were getting refusals regardless of how good their profiles were. This trend makes me really worried and I'm getting cooked in anxiety.

P.S. This does NOT conclude that the rejection percentage is higher than approvals, but only the news of rejection is coming out and I assume the long-time pending files which have no updates may have greater chances of approval. Again, everything is just an interpretation of the current trend.

Maybe because the ones who got refused will look for help in forums while ones who got approved will just go on with their lives :P

This point can't be denied, tbh:). However, I'm in a WhatsApp group in which the members are updating each of their alerts and it makes clear the rejections are being announced and approvals are almost zero to date. This makes some of the group members think that IRCC is trying to hold the decision if it's approval so that they won't be overburdened by the post-approval activities like stamping that should occur at vfs.
