Is it okay to include the 20 pics in a smaller separate envelope ?

I would suggest to use elastic band without envelope. I did that.

I put mine in one envelope but separated them in groups in relation to visit 1, visit 2, wedding etc. I just put a post it note around each group and wrote on the sticky visit 1 etc.
