Sending PCC after AOR ?

Hi All,
I am waiting for my AOR to send the Police Clearance Certificate. But I am not very sure about where to send the PCC. I believe that I need to send it to the Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa address(
219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th floor, section B, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1)

But how can I confirm that I really need to send the certificates to Ottawa and not any other office?
I am asking this because when I received my application form back(due to missing information) after CIO's verification earlier, they had crossed on CPP-O in my form and written CPR over that. So I am wondering if there is any other place to send the missing application documents after receiving AOR.

Another question has been bugging me since long. Why do we wait until AOR for sending the documents, we anyway have the client id, can't they relate the sent documents to the application? I mean I got the PCCs a week after CIO received my application. I could have sent them to CIO knowing that my application is still with them.

Hello there,

I) for your first question, once you receive the AOR, it will be clear where to send the correspondence, and you will have your application number. If you would still have doubts you could write an email quoting your name, date of birth and application number, and asking where to send the PCC that you recently obtained and haven't supplied with your application.

II) for the second question, client ID is not enough, and moreover, before the AOR issuance your application isn't on file. What is means is that it doesn't make sense for the CIC officers to spend time looking for it in order to attach any documents (PCCs in your case). So you have to wait for the AOR, only then you can consider your file being open or at least in the database. Hope this helps.

don't worry, you'll get your AOR soon, and then you'll mail the PCCs, everything will be fine.

good luck

Thanks for the response. You are saying it will be clear after AOR, does that mean they send some information along with AOR?

In the AOR they usually give you the address and email where you should be sending any inquiries in relation to your application.

When they send AOR , they should ideally tell which VISA office your application has been sent to
It would most likely be Ottawa pilot office though it may be different as well.

But some times they don't mention that in the AOR mail even though its been sent to Ottawa.
They did not mention the visa office to me.

Once i got the AOR , i called CIC help desk and asked them to confirm which office my application is in
They confirmed that its in Ottawa pilot office

Then i mailed the original physical copies of PCC to Ottawa address mentioned on CIC web site for sending PCC
After a week i sent a email requesting them to confirm the PCC receipt.

They replied positively and confirmed that PCC has been attached to my file.
