Sending passport to NY Embassy?

Does anyone know if we still can send our passports for visa stamping to NY consulate?
I called VAC center in LA and they said the only way is to send the passport to VAC LA.
This is confusing. Anyone applied online from the US last month and got pp request now? Pls let me know where are you sending your passports

i sent my passport to the LA consulate and they returned my passport saying they no longer accept passports from online applications, i emailed the NY consulate and waiting for their reply.

I sent my passport for NY. So, should be fine if you send there.

I sent my passport to NY on last tuesday and today my application was approved in my cic account. So NY definitely accepts passports.

1- passport
2- letter uploaded on my account requesting to send passport
3 - USPS self addressed Envelope

Is that all? Please confirm

Thats what i sent to NY office. Just these three items.

My passport reached NY on Tuesday and were with USPS on Wednesday and in my hands on Thursday.
