Sending Passport from Naija

My fellow Naija People them...I be silent watcher for this site and I get alot of info here to complete my application. Thanks to them Boby and Abisola and all my naija brothers and sisters.. I don complete my application just passport request now (London Office, applied Jan 2009--passport request Sep2009) but I no know how to send my wife Palii come UK..Any body here for UK know how I fit do this? I hear say some ways dey to send am but I no know if that is possible..Make unna talk put for this case, I beg unna.

Nothing do you my man. Tell your 'amariya' (wife) to DHL her paali to you for london then u can send the two together to the high commission. Exactly what i did in my case. Her pali got to me through DHL just in 3days from naija and i sent the two together for visa and they returned both to my london address. I had the cause to go to naija with her paali then we both flew together to canada. Hope this clears your doubt. Jeun soke my guy!!!

Then for the Dream Land, Cana! na where be the better place when go good for we Naija people body? u know say we dey get our community so, just like South-east London for us here in UK...

I have just told you my personal experience you are still doubting! Na wa for you o!
Anyway, my iyawo used DHL from naija to london to send her paali, i applied from u.k and was in u.k when they requested for our passports, wife was in naija, DHL had no objection carrying her paali to u.k. I know for indian passports, u can't do such a thing, not for naija paali. For me o, i no like all this 'parapo' stuff so i dey for one small town outside of toronto (in ontario)and life plenty for there i no go lie for you. Try saskatoon (in saskatchewan) if you are after meeting from our country people.

I would like to chip in a lil bit, i had to register and open an account with DHL-staples(all because of canada pr), and it is true that DHL does not courier passports to and from some countries, and our dear country is amongst one of them. That is the official policy, and passports could be intercepted and seized by the UK Govt plus there's a risk of gaining a conviction as a result. London Met has carried out many controlled delivery of intercepted Passports in sting operations. However, This one is for a legit reason, so there should be a way round it, Cic london should be able to help, or point you in a direction of how to get a waiver or something.

That is not to say one or two may not have slipped thru the net, but it is just the law. And it is borne out of abuse by a few of our fellow country pple doing all manner of runs etc. I would advise you contact CiC london to seek their advise on this. Vamsi may have done his own thing before the law came into place, who knows? or his might just be one of the few lucky ones. At this stage of PPR, i wouldn't take any chances or risk, try to ring cic london and see what they say. Pls Let me know if you do not get any response from them.
