sending passport from india

hi,

i am in USA and my spouse is in india. she has never been to USA from the age of 18.

how to get the passport from my spouse from india. if we get it from courier is it legal to get it. if yes through which courier can we get it.

i request all the members and senior members to please reply.

babutv: contacted DHL today..they are fine with this issue but they asked me to get a letter from regional PP office....do you know what is this and how do we get this? plzz let me know, thanks in advance

Dhl bangalore did not ask for any such letter. Alternate would be to conceal as document.
