Hey,

I have a question for people who applied outland but stayed in Canada or left Canada later before receiving PR.
Finally we are common-law with my Canadian boyfriend. My IEC already expired so now I`m on visitor visa. After sending my outland application and getting approval I will be heading back to my country, hopefully for not too long.
My main question is: did you put everywhere Canadian mailing and residence address because you are applying from Canada (I`m not back home yet so I don`t know where I will live)? Renewed Sponsor form IMM1344E asks if principal applicant lives in Canada or out, as well as Checklist part 4 asks if I am currently in Canada or outside. I believe each form has question like this. What did you do? Did you put Canada as country of residence and Canadian address? Did you choose that you are in Canada or opposite because just address you send your application matters?

Canadian address and canada as current country of residence

So, I guess my situation wasn't entirely dissimilar to this - applied outland from within Canada, and had to go back to my home country for a few weeks around that time when you start to check the MyCIC and all that every day... because I figured there was a chance it would all be sent while I was out of Canada, I put my home country mailing/residence on there, considering that I was technically a visitor in Canada. When it became apparent that it wouldn't be finalized before I went back to Canada (due to being asked for a Canadian police check a week or two before I was going back to Canada anyway, I decided it would make more sense to get it done after I flew back rather than sorting it out remotely), I changed the address online back to my Canadian one. It all got sorted out in the end. Honestly, I'd probably just put wherever you think you'll be when the time comes (in, say, 3-4 months or whatever).

So you can still change your mailing address after linking you acct online?
