Sending money from UAE to my account in Canada before moving as a permanent resident

Hi everyone,
I am traveling to Canada as a Permanent Resident in February,2025 and want to transfer funds from UAE which is more than 10K CAD to my account in TD bank. I just wanted to confirm that if there is any tax deduction on it since I have not declared it yet.

Canada do not tax on money you have inside or outside.
Tax is only apply to earnings and gains. (in general)
You need to declare the source for the bank transfer of the amount. (normal banking process)

I am also migrating in 3-4 months, if I transfer the money in two or more batches, will I be required to pay taxes or any charges in Canada?

Check with your bank if there's any charges.
