I am ready to send in my application but still waiting for a support letter from my cousin in the mail. My question is : Can I send my application now, and send the support letter later on when I receive it in the mail? I really want to get this process moving, been waiting for so long now.

Apparently that's a bad idea. It's better to have it sent all together. They may never be able to match up your package with the letter (as simple as it may seem). Too much stuff goes on I guess.

You could wait until you have a client ID number, but, the safest bet I've heard is to send it all together.

Yeah, I'd wait until you have everything together. Your goal is to make it as idiot proof as possible so that you don't get delayed.

okay. I'll wait to send everything together. Thanks for the advice. Cheers.

Dear All,

Without support letter (Sponsor Letter) in family class CIC don't accept any application. So just wait....

I think that depends on the type of sponsorship you are involved with.

Make sure your application is 100% complete because it is highly unlikely you will be able to add any documents to your file until you have a UCI number which is usually very late in stage 1 (almost at sponsor approval). If you speak to CIC they will also tell you not to add any further documents unless they ask for it.

You can add documents after you have a UCI number but usually at this point the file has been transferred to the Visa Office. A completed package is a lot less stressful, as adding documents becomes a real nightmare!

Good luck :D
