Sending Indian Passport outside the country of residence!!!

Talked to rp_tp and we're still searching for options. Bumping this thread, not a good practice but had no option.

Is there anyone who is working out of India and has/had to send their passports to New Delhi visa office? Please respond.

I have a question..

I got the Passport request to submit in VFS, New Delhi but I live in Europe. I am a Indian national. Anyone can confirm me if its legal to send passport from Europe to India than return back to Europe with visa through DHL?

@metallica,

You will have no other option than to send you ppts in/outside of India through somebody with an authorization from you. I did send my ppts out and inside of India through one of my friends and had given him authorization as well. Please PM me in case you need any further assistance in this regard.
