Hey - Just my two cents.

I was in the same situation. So, I sent them an email, and then couriered the original letter. I think that would be full-proof. Do not take a chance if you have means (I mean you are physically in Canada) to send the original.

They don't need original reference letter. He's fine with what he sent. Pls, don't add more confusion

Well.....I am trying to help someone with what I did. Here, I am stating the fact, and it's a suggestion.
Unless you work in CIC as a VO, being judgmental on procedures, as well as other's comments is not well received.

well, I am only referring to the documents checklist and original copy of the letter is not needed. have a great day too.

I scanned my doc but the cover letter ..can it be written on the email body itself or do I have to word doc it print it and scan that as well while attaching the document???
