Hello,

On the Rome case specific enquiry it says:

You wish to report important changes regarding your application, such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in address, changes in employment, acquisition of a new educational credential, results of an approved language test.

Is the acquisition of a new educational credential relevant to spousal sponsorship? Or is this case specific page for all types of visas they deal with and that is why they have listed things to do with education?

We need to update our address with the VO anyways, but I'm unsure whether I should include that the applicant recently completed his PhD, and if I, the sponsor, should include my one way flight ticket to Canada (proof of intent to return).

What do you think?

Educational credentials are not relevant to spousal sponsorship. You could include a copy of your purchased one way ticket back to Canada as a proof of intent to return though.
