Sending a medical information sheet?

Hello, I just got my medicals done at a CIC approved doctor, they told me that the results should be posted to my house within 4 weeks. As I am applying outland I need to send the certificate off in my application so was hoping to get it all away sooner than a month. I spoke to the staff there and they said sending off the information sheet and receipt the printed would be enough to send as it shows that I have had all the check-ups and they will upload the results to them online anyway by the time they are needed. I just want to confirm with all you knowledgeable people that this is true?
