Dear all,

I will be 40 in next January, so I want to apply for Quebec but I need to study for french and get the exam. So please I have some questions:

- Can I apply now then write my french exam later and send the exam report?
- What is the minimum level of french needed for my as the principle applicant and my wife?

Thanks,

i doesn't work like that anymore. If you want to get points for french you HAVE to submit you exam's results along with your application. Otherwise, it will get returned.
IMO, you can send the application claiming no points and I guess you could later update your file and attach the exam's results. However, your initial application will need to score enough points to be processed without french.

As for minimum level of french, there isn't any (at least initially) as long as you can score enough points to get processed. However, you might need to show some proficiency if you get interviewed.
