Of course, you need to find a job in Yukon, and so far you will need to work in Yukon until you get PR through YNP. If you are in Ontario, you can check Ontario Nominee Program as well http://www.canadavisa.com/ontario-provincial-nominee-program.html

Hi to all,

Hopefully someone can answer my question about Yukon Nominee Program under Critical Impact Worker Program. I want to know what are the chances of getting a nomination of a foreign worker outside Canada applying for NOC C/D for Yukon Nominee Program? If the employer wants to hire a person permanently under YNP provided that he/she have all the requirements for nomination what are the chances of getting an approval?

Please share your thoughts and experience :)
Hello! Buleg! Based from my experience: The employer will submit all the documents requested from you in the Gov't of Yukon. Usually it takes 8-12 weeks but I guess if you have all the requirements needed it depends on the time frame and also to your employer. If they make sure that everything is in order and they submitted your docs accordingly you 'might' get a better chance of approval and a fast one too. :) I got mine approved in less than 2 weeks, I hope you'll get yours asap! Goodluck! :D

I am a Yukon Nominee, I have lots of friends who were approved. Everyone is approved here. All you need to show 6 months related work experience and high school diploma and IELTS 4.
Hi Verveiko,

I am moving to Yukon to look for job in January 2015. I would like to apply for Yukon PNP. Are you still in Yukon? Is it possible to contact you via email?
My email adress is bracok@centrum.cz

Thanks.

i am talking about Yukon Nominee Program, becasue i am also applying for. Read through out the handbook of Yukon Nominee Program would give you more details of procedure. First of all, you need to ask your employer to contact Yukon immigration department to nominate you. Officers will give your employer specific information because your employer is an applicant.
Hi! I am applying for a Yukon Nominee Program and as you've mentioned, the employer should contact first the Yukon Immigration Department to nominate me before submitting all the requirements? Please help me regarding YNP Application. Thank you and God Bless!

hi ADL! I am applying for Yukon Nominee Program outside Canada. Is it required that my employer should call first the Advanced Education, Department of Education, Government of Yukon regarding my nomination. Or is it okay if we will just complete the requirements and submit it to the Advanced Education? Thank you for your help in advance!

God Bless...

Hi,

Once you filled out the YNP forms & have submitted to your employer along with your documents, your employer should submit it to Advance Education. The AE will contact your employer if there's add'l docs that they need. All communications will be done thru your employer before you'll get YNP approval.

FYI: Advance Education is now very strict on nomination since most of the nominees who got PR transferred to other province.

Good Luck =)

Hello everyone.

Here's my situation. I'm a 33-year-old guy from Italy. I moved to Canada in November 2013 with an LMO and I'm working as a caterer. According to my immigration lawyer, it will be very unlikely to get a renewal on my current visa for two more years. Therefore, he suggested applying to the YNP. I am planning a trip to Whitehorse and should be there in 2-3 weeks looking for an employer willing to sponsor me through that Provincial Program.

I hope to find a job once I'm there, the city itself looks so small and on kijiji they only had like 4 pages of job offers and that was it. I wonder if any of you tried his luck with such program and how it turned out.

Best regards.

Hi guys!

What's the chances to get nominated in Yukon after 6 months of working there and being on 1 year PGWP?

Do employers usually help new employees with Nomination?
